| Our Lisa is from the "A-Litter" which is the first litter born to Absinthe in Tucson, Arizona. What is even more special is that she is from the last litter sired by our beloved Scout (Huntmoor Atticus Finch) who left for the "Rainbow Bridge" February of 2019 at the marvelous age of 12 years young. Lisa is named after my first and most winningest Giant Schnauzer, CH Skansen's AnneLisa v Eric (1980s). There is something about her that smacks of her namesake's beauty and presence. The other emotional connection that Lisa brings to mind is, our beloved "Berthe" (Absinthe Cecile de Volanges) who was also a Scout daughter. Berthe was stolen from us two weeks before our move to Tucson, and was reported to have expired. This is a loss that still pains us all. When Lisa was born, it was if she was Berthe come back to me....and so, she will remain in my home as our new reigning "Show Girl" and Queen of my heart! | ||
