Philosophy

What a Title Means

A championship is not a marketing credential. It is a peer judgment — rendered by approved experts, under AKC rules, in open competition — that a dog conforms closely enough to the breed standard to be considered worthy of reproduction.

Every dog we have finished was primarily owner-handled and we occassionally engaged professional Handlers for show that we could not attend.

We do not finish dogs to sell puppies at a premium. We finish dogs because the standard matters, and because fifty-two years in this sport has taught us that the ring is still the most honest measure we have.
